My most recent work, "Paragraphs," is meant to illustrate a metaphor for a literary paragraph. The images and writing act as sentences, commas, and the breath you take while speaking. I arrange writing within certain images and not in others, almost as though I am saying them out loud; I feel as though I need to give myself space between statements before you can move on to the next. I question our differences and similarities as well as remember and write my own answers. Although it has not been my intention to solve anything in the creation of this work, I have found a new system of exploring the layers and complexities of the most confusing and rewarding relationship in my life.

The “body” contains the entire piece while the “sentences” are details which enable the text to be accesible to the viewer in this format.
